HENDERSON, Nev. (March 18, 2021) – The No. 16 College of Southern Nevada baseball team opened a Scenic West Athletic Conference series with a strong home win.
The Coyotes opened a four-game tilt with Colorado Northwestern Community College victoriously, earning a 10-0 win at Morse Stadium. The win boosts CSN's overall record to 19-6 and 4-1 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada held a narrow 1-0 lead until the fifth inning, when
Dax Fellows hit a three-run home run to open the game up for the Coyotes.
Johnny Cuevas led the Coyotes at the plate in the game, going 2-of-4.
Joseph Walls had three walks in the game.
Joey Magrisi had a stellar pitching performance, throwing a complete game of six innings. Magrisi struck out eight CNCC batters.
Southern Nevada will host the Spartans in a doubleheader at Morse Stadium Friday.
