HENDERSON, Nev. (March 26, 2021) – A return to the friendly confines of Lady Coyote Softball Field, the College of Southern Nevada softball team earned a doubleheader sweep Friday.
The Lady Coyotes split with USU Eastern, finishing with a 6-5 victory and a 6-4 loss. The wins boost CSN's overall record to 17-16 overall and 7-7 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Southern Nevada and USU Eastern will play another doubleheader on Saturday at Lady Coyote Softball Field. First pitch of the day is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Liliana Gutierrez. CSN jumped out to a 4-0 lead before USU Eastern score five unanswered runs midway through the game.
Bailey Pepper led CSN by going 2-of-3 at the plate.
Tyanna Kaailaii earned the pitching win, throwing two innings of relief.
USU Eastern 6, Southern Nevada 4: An early CSN lead evaporated as the Eagles went on to the win.
Amber Triviso hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to give Southern Nevada a 4-2 lead before USU Eastern scored four unanswered runs to end the game. Triviso led CSN at the plate, going 2-of-4 with a trio of RBI's.
