HENDERSON, Nev. (March 27, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada softball team earned a doubleheader sweep in a Scenic West Athletic Conference series finale on Saturday.

CSN picked up a 11-3 win in game one and 5-4 game two win over USU Eastern, finishing the series at 3-1 against the Eagles. Southern Nevada is now 19-16 overall and 9-7 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.

Southern Nevada will travel to play at No. 1 Salt Lake next weekend.

Southern Nevada 11, USU Eastern 3: A late offensive rally lifted the Lady Coyotes to a run-rule win.

A two-run
Kayley Cole RBI triple lifted CSN to a 4-2 lead in the fourth inning, with Southern Nevada eventually scoring six runs in the sixth inning to close out the game. CSN posted 12 hits in the win.

Caitlin Covington both went 3-of-4 from the plate, with
Kendall Menke going 2-of-3.
Amber Triviso threw a complete-game victory, earning two strikeouts.Â
