TWIN FALLS, ID (March 9, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team suffered a tough loss to open a three-game road trip in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

The Lady Coyotes lost a game at the College of Southern Idaho to open their week, falling 88-39. The loss drops CSN to 0-8 overall and in Scenic West play.

Both teams were close early, with CSI holding a narrow 18-11 lead after the first quarter. However, the Golden Eagles took control in the second quarter with a 24-6 run, never looking back.

Sharmayne Finely led the Lady Coyotes with 17 points, while
Tyra Perkins posted 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
Destiny Byrd also scored 5 points.

Southern Nevada will play at USU Eastern on Thursday.Â
