TWIN FALLS, ID (April 10, 2021) – The No. 16 College of Southern Nevada baseball team finished off a tough series at Southern Idaho, with the Coyotes earning a strong win in the final game of the series.
CSN earned a dominant 10-2 win to close the four-game Scenic West Athletic Conference at Southern Idaho, scoring early and holding on for the win. The victory boosts CSN's overall record to 28-11, with a mark of 13-6 in Scenic West play.
Damiano Palmegiani opened the first inning with an RBI double, with
Trey Frahm hitting a two-run home run later in the inning to give CSN an early 3-0 lead.
John-Howard Bobo added a two-run double in the fifth inning, with
Joseph Walls getting an RBI single. Walls also hit a solo home run in the eighth inning.
Walls finished the day at 3-of-5 to lead the Coyotes, while Palmegiani was 2-of-3. CSN finished the day with 12 hits.
Andrew Hauck earned the pitching victory, striking out five CSI players in six innings.
Southern Nevada will host Community Christian College at Morse Stadium in a four-game non-conference series this upcoming weekend.
