2021 Fans allowed in

CSN Baseball, Softball, Soccer to begin allowing fans at venues

HENDERSON, Nev. (April 12, 2021) – Improving numbers surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have brought positive news for the College of Southern Nevada Athletic Department.
 
Beginning this week, CSN's Baseball and Softball programs will be allowed to have fans inside Morse Stadium and Lady Coyote Softball Field, respectively. Also, CSN Soccer will allow fans at Heritage Park. Fans will be allowed according to the guidelines of the 'CSN Athletics Safety and Preparedness Plan', which was recently approved. 
 
"We are very excited to provide this opportunity for CSN fans," said Dexter Irvin, CSN Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreation. "Keep everyone safe will continue to a priority, while providing access to the facilities. Wearing masks and keeping appropriate distances will continue to be priority for us and will be enforced throughout the facilities."
 
Fans at both venues will allowed to attend with masks, along with a required self-health assessment prior to attending the CSN event. There will also be a focus on physical distancing throughout the event. Additionally, concessions will not be available at events. 
 
CSN Baseball will be at home this weekend for a non-conference series with California Christian College, while the Lady Coyotes softball program will be on the road at Snow College. CSN Softball's next home series is scheduled for April 23-24 at Colorado Northwestern. 
 
The College of Southern Nevada will host the Region 18 Baseball-and-Softball Championships from May 12-15, with plans to allow fans for both events. Ticketing information for both postseason events will be available at csncoyotes.com in the coming weeks. 
 
"We appreciate our administration, including Dr. Margo Martin, Provost Patty Charlton, and President Zaragoza, for working with us to allow our fans," Irvin said.
