Box Score 2 PRICE, UT. (April 16, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada softball team split a Scenic West Athletic Conference road doubleheader Friday.
CSN split the day in a road doubleheader with Snow College, falling 17-3 in the first game before earning a 16-6 win in the day's second game. With the split, the Lady Coyotes are now 23-22 overall and 13-13 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada and Snow will conclude the series on Saturday.
Snow 11, Southern Nevada 2: A tough start saw CSN fall in a game-one loss.
The Lady Coyotes took a 2-1 lead in the second inning, scoring on a
Jocelyn Shupp home run, before Snow responded with scoring ten unanswered runs. Shupp,
Bailey Pepper and Kenley Cole went 1-of-2.
Tyanna Kaailaii earned the pitching loss.
Southern Nevada 16, Snow 6: It was offense galore for CSN in a second game victory.
The Lady Coyotes posted four runs in the first inning, scoring in each of the run-shortened five-inning game. CSN posted 14 hits in the win, finishing with seven extra-base hits.
Jocelyn Shupp led Southern Nevada with a 3-of-4 performance at the plate, posting a handful of RBI's in the process.
