HENDERSON, Nev. (April 16, 2021) – The No. 20 College of Southern Nevada baseball team earned a non-conference doubleheader sweep Friday.
The Coyotes earned victories of 3-2 and 13-3, downing Community Christian College at Morse Stadium. CSN is now 31-11 overall.
The two teams will play a series finale on Saturday.
Southern Nevada 3, Community Christian 2: CSN scored runs late to earn the close victory.
Trailing 2-0 in the sixth inning,
Trey Frahm hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to get the Coyotes on the board.
Jacob Godman followed the Frahm home run up with his own blast, powering a two-run home run to give CSN the lead.
Andrew Hauck earned the pitching win in relief.
Josh Swales started the game, striking out 11 batters.
Southern Nevada 13, Community Christian 3: Consistent scoring helped CSN to the impressive win.

John-Howard Bobo three-run in the park home run in the fifth inning finished off the long rally for Southern Nevada in the fifth inning, proving to be the walk-off hit. The Coyotes also put pressure on the basepaths, with
Damiano Palmegiani scoring the game's first run on a wild pitch and
Gavin Malcolm scoring on a balk.
Bobo went 3-of-3, while Malcolm finished at 2-of-3.
Austin Raleigh earned the pitching win for CSN, throwing three innings.
