HENDERSON, Nev. (April 17, 2021) – The No. 20 College of Southern Nevada baseball team finished off a non-conference series sweep at Morse Stadium Saturday.
CSN downed Community Christian College, 20-1, to earn a four-game series sweep. With the win, Southern Nevada is now 32-11 overall.
In a game where the Coyotes registered 19 hits, CSN had a trio of home runs that were highlighted by
Fabian Torres hit a three-run home run in the third inning.
Damiano Palmegiani also hit a two-run home run.
Joseph Walls also hit a solo home run.
Walls went 3-of-3 of the plate, while Palmegiani went 2-of-4.
Dax Fellows and
John-Howard Bobo both went 2-of-3.
Trey Frahm earned the pitching win for Southern Nevada, throwing three innings in the run-shortened game.
Southern Nevada will return to Scenic West Athletic Conference play next weekend, traveling to play a four-game series with Colorado Northwestern.
