CRAIG, CO. (April 24, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada men's soccer team earned a dominant road win Saturday, starting its first winning streak of the 2021 season.
CSN posted a strong 3-0 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College, playing consistently strong throughout the win. The win boosts Southern Nevada to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada scored a goal in the first half, with
Mihreteab Tesfamariam scoring a goal in the 39
th minute. CSN posted a pair of goals in the second half, with
Diego Gonzalez scoring in the 53
rd minute and
Alfredo Diaz scored in the 78
th minute.
The Coyotes held a 22-10 advantage in shots, with a 10-5 edge in corner kicks.
Southern Nevada will travel to play at No. 3 Salt Lake Community College next weekend.
