RANGELY, CO. (April 24, 2021) – The No. 19 College of Southern Nevada baseball team finished off a series sweep Saturday.
CSN downed Colorado Northwestern by a final score of, 15-12, moving to 36-11 overall and 17-6 in Scenic West play. The Coyotes also swept through CNCC in league play during the regular season with the win, posting an 8-0 record against the Spartans.
Southern Nevada scored consistently in the win, posting runs in six innings and finishing with a total of 18 hits. CSN had nine extra-base hits, with
Trey Frahm hitting three doubles alone.
Frahm went 3-of-6 at the plate, with
Austin Plante going 4-of-6 with a team-high 6 RBI's.
Joey Magrisi had the pitching start, earning the win after striking out six batters in five innings.
Andrew Hauck earned the save.
Southern Nevada will host USU Eastern in a four-game series next week.
