HENDERSON, Nev. (April 3, 2021) - The No. 10 College of Southern Nevada baseball team closed out a Scenic West Athletic Conference series with a loss Saturday.
 
The Coyotes suffered a home loss at the hands of Salt Lake Community College, losing a 14-8 decision to the Bruins to fall to 1-3 in the series. The loss drops CSN to 26-9 overall and 11-4 in  Scenic West play.

Justin Olson opened the scoring in the first inning, hitting an RBI single to score 
Johnny Cuevas. However, the Bruins responded by adding seven unanswered runs to take a lead they would never relinquish. 
 
Southern Nevada did add more highlight at-bats, with Cuevas hitting a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Cuevas later added a three-run home run in the eighth inning.
 
Cuevas had a career day at the plate, going 4-of-5 with a six RBI's. Olson finished 2-of-4 with an RBI. 
 
Southern Nevada will return to the field next week, traveling to play at Southern Idaho.
