TWIN FALLS, ID. (April 8, 2021) – The No. 16 College of Southern Nevada baseball team earned a victory to open a four-game Scenic West Athletic Conference road series.
The Coyotes picked up a 14-4 win over the College of Southern Idaho Thursday, opening the four-game road series positively. The win boosts CSN to 27-9 overall and 12-4 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
In a game where Southern Nevada posted 17 hits,
Joseph Walls tied the game in the second inning with a two-run triple.
Damiano Palmegiani gave CSN its first lead in the third, hitting a solo home run. Palmegiani brought home two more runs in the fourth inning on an RBI double, also earning a two-run triple in the seventh inning to complete the cycle.
Palmegiani finished the game with a perfect 5-of-5 performance at the plate, posting 5 RBI's.
John-Howard Bobo was 2-of-3, while Walls went 3-of-5 in the game.
Joey Magrisi earned the pitching win, striking out 13 batters in a complete-game win.
Southern Nevada and Southern Idaho will play a doubleheader on Friday.
