West Jordan, UT. (May 8, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada baseball team fell in a Scenic West Athletic Conference road game Saturday.
 
Playing in a battle for the Scenic West regular-season title, the Coyotes fell short in a 16-6 loss to Salt Lake Community College, meaning CSN will enter the Region 18 tournament as the No. 2 seed. Southern Nevada is now 41-14 overall and finished at 22-9 in league play.
 
The Coyotes jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning, with Damiano Palmegiani hitting a solo home run. CSN added five more runs in the third inning, upping their lead to 6-0 before Salt Lake went on a 16-0 scoring run to claim the game.
 
Palmegiani led Southern Nevada with a 3-of-3 performance at the plate, posting five RBI's.
