NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (August 21, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team fell in its Fall 2021 home opener Saturday.
 
The Lady Coyotes, playing at Cristo Rey St. Viator, lost a 1-0 decision to Cochise College. CSN is now 0-2 in the loss.
 
After a striking defensive battle in the first half, Cochise scored early in the second half to take a lead they would never relinquish. CSN did post 15 shots in the match, finishing with 6 shots-on-goal.
 
Lady Coyotes goalie Shayna Thompson posted seven saves in the loss.
 
Southern Nevada will play again on Sunday, hosting Arizona Western at 1:00 p.m. at Heritage Park.
