HENDERSON, Nev. (September 25, 2021) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference home match did not go the way of the College of Southern Nevada Volleyball program Saturday.
The Lady Coyotes lost a tough 3-0 contest to perennial Scenic West contender USU Eastern, losing by set scores of 19-25, 14-25, 13-25. Southern Nevada is now 4-9 overall, with a mark of 1-1 in Scenic West play.
USU Eastern did a good job throughout the contest of limiting CSN's offense, with the Lady Coyotes posting a hitting percentage of .000 with 26 errors. Southern Nevada did have 26 kills in the loss, with a pair of aces.
Natasha Obradovic led CSN with 11 kills, also posting 11 digs.
Alana Chun had the team-high lead with 14 digs, while Kayla Barker finished with 21 assists.
Southern Nevada will travel to play at nationally-ranked Snow College and Salt Lake next week.
