HENDERSON, Nev. (January 29, 2022) – A two-game Scenic West road trip ended in a loss for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team Saturday.
The Coyotes' two-step through Utah ended with losses to a pair of nationally-ranked programs, the latest coming in a 89-74 defeat to No. 22 Snow College. CSN falls to 10-14 overall with the loss, alongside a mark of 4-8 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada struggled on offense throughout the game, shooting just 37.9 percent in the game. The Coyotes made just 6-of-23 shots from distance and never led in the game.
In spite of offensive struggles, several CSN players had highlight performances.
Dominique Ford scored 21 points, and
Darren Jones had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Tucker Peterson also posted 10 points in the loss.
Southern Nevada will host a home game at Democracy Prep Thursday, playing against Community Christian.
