HENDERSON, Nev. (October 12, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team last played a match at home on September 15. Since then, the Lady Coyotes have been on a month-long road trip across the American West, playing in one of the NJCAA's toughest regions.
Southern Nevada was excited to return home on Wednesday to the friendly confines of the Cheyenne Sports Complex, albeit with more tough competition in No. 4 Salt Lake. Unfortunately, CSN dropped its match with Salt Lake, falling 12-0 to drop to 0-2 against the Bruins this season. The Lady Coyotes are now 1-14-1 overall and 1-8-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference matches.
Alexsandra Padilla-Rubalcava made 13 saves at goal for Southern Nevada.
Sierra Kashin also took a shot in the match.
Southern Nevada will continue its homestand Saturday, hosting USU Eastern in a match that will start at 11:00 a.m.
