HENDERSON, Nev. (October 14, 2022) - The College of Southern Nevada Volleyball team dropped a Scenic West Athletic Conference road match to open a weekend of league play.
CSN lost in a competitive 3-2 decision at the College of Southern Idaho, falling by set scores of 25-21, 11-25, 25-18, 24-26, 8-15. The Lady Coyotes are now 5-14 overall and 1-5 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play after the loss.
In a match that went back-and-forth, Southern Nevada played well but was ultimately undone by 27 attack errors. In the critical fourth set, CSN took a 24-23 lead after a
Natasha Obradovic service ace, but Southern Idaho responded with three straight points to win the set.
The Lady Coyotes hit .174 in the match, finishing with 48 kills and 10 aces. Obradovic led Southern Nevada with 22 kills, while
Tamyra Simpson also contributed 10 kills.
Southern Nevada will continue its swing through the Rocky Mountains Saturday, traveling to play at No. 1 Salt Lake.
