HENDERSON, Nev. (October 15, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Soccer team celebrated its 'Sophomore Day' festivities amidst the season finale Saturday.
CSN played host to USU Eastern in the finale, falling 2-1 in the close of the regular season. Southern Nevada will close the season with a mark of 6-10-1 overall and 4-6-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
It was the Coyotes who took the early lead, posting a
Mario Juarez goal in just the third minute of the match. USU Eastern countered minutes later, then added the clinching goal in the 82
nd minute.
Daniel Garciacano took a team-high three shots in the win. CSN goalkeeper Damien Moreno had a pair of saves.
Southern Nevada will now await the announcement of its seeding in the upcoming Region 18 tournament, which will be played from October 27-29.
