HENDERSON, Nev. (October 8, 2022) – A Saturday match proved to be tough medicine for the College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team.
The Lady Coyotes fell in a 5-1 road loss at Colorado Northwestern, finishing the year at 0-1-1 against the Lady Spartans. CSN is now 1-12-1 overall and 1-6-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
Colorado Northwestern jumped out to an early lead, momentum from which CSN never recovered. The Lady Coyotes finally got on the scoreboard in the 73
rd minute, thanks to
Sierra Kashin finding the back of the net to cut the deficit to 2-1. However, CNCC then scored three unanswered goals to claim the win.
Alexsandra Padilla-Rubalcava finished with 16 saves in the loss.
Southern Nevada will host No. 4 Salt Lake next Wednesday.
