HENDERSON, Nev. (February 24, 2022) – A tough start to a Region 18 quarterfinal ended in a season-ending loss for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team Thursday.
 
The Coyotes fell in a 70-45 decision to USU Eastern, trailing 39-20 at halftime and never recovering. CSN will end the 2021-22 season with an overall record of 13-18.
 
Southern Nevada had its offensive struggles throughout the game, with CSN shooting just 32.6 percent in the half (14-of-43). The Coyotes also went 13-of-30 from the free-throw line throughout the game.
 
Terrance Marigney led CSN with 11 points, while Dominique Ford posted 9 points in the loss. Darren Jones scored 7 points and Nick Attanasio posted 5 points.
 
USU Eastern will play No. 1 Salt Lake in a Region 18 semifinal on Friday.
