HENDERSON, Nev. (April 22, 2022) – 'Snow' was the opponent in many ways for the College of Southern Nevada Softball team Friday.
Yes, the Lady Coyotes were playing Snow College in a Friday series finale but CSN was also facing inclement weather. Neither opponent eventually bothered Southern Nevada in an 11-0 run-rule victory over the Lady Badgers.
CSN jumped on Snow to open the game, taking a 6-0 lead after the first inning. The Lady Coyotes strongly utilized extra-base hits, with
Caitlin Covington and
Kayley Cole each contributing a pair of doubles. Southern Nevada posted 11 hits in the win.
Amber Triviso earned the pitching win, throwing five scoreless innings in the circle. Triviso allowed just three hits and finished with four strikeouts.
Southern Nevada will travel to play a four-game series at Salt Lake next weekend.
