HENDERSON, Nev. (April 7, 2022) – A critical four-game Scenic West Athletic Conference series opened with a loss for the College of Southern Nevada Baseball team Thursday.
 
CSN started a series with No. 13 Salt Lake at Morse Stadium with a 17-0 defeat, falling to 0-5 on the season against the Bruins. The Coyotes are now 21-15 overall and 13-8 in Scenic West play.
 
Southern Nevada posted just a single hit in the game, getting just two baserunners. CSN's defense committed four errors in the loss. Jesus Contreras earned the pitching loss, falling to 4-4 on the season. 
 
Southern Nevada and Salt Lake will play a doubleheader on Friday at Morse Stadium. The first pitch is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
