PRICE, UT. (May 7, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Baseball team earned a strong win to close the Spring 2022 regular season.
 
CSN posted a 19-8 win at USU Eastern, going 4-0 in the road series. Southern Nevada ends the regular season with an overall mark of 35-20 and a record of 27-13 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games.
 
In a game that allowed Southern Nevada to flex its offensive might, 
Jackson Castillo helped by hitting a three-run home run in the third inning. CSN then scored five runs in the fourth inning, with both 
Mayze Mosher and 
John-Howard Bobo hitting two-run singles. Castillo also hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning, with 
Austin Cates and Mosher also hitting home runs in the same frame.
 
Castillo went 2-of-4 in the game with 5 RBI's, while 
Trey Frahm was 3-of-5. 
Jesus Gonzalez earned the pitching win. 
 
Southern Nevada will play as the No. 2 seed in next week's Region 18 tournament, meaning the Coyotes will have a first round bye and open play on Thursday, in West Jordan Utah.
