HENDERSON, Nev. (August 23, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Soccer team had a tough result in a non-conference match Tuesday.
CSN dropped a 4-1 decision to Yavapai College, falling to 1-2 overall in the young 2022 season. The loss represented a disappointing start to a four-match week ahead for the Coyotes.
Yavapai started quickly, scoring a goal in the opening minutes to take an early lead. CSN countered in the 13
thminute with a goal by
Saul Chavez-Ramirez, with Yavapai eventually taking a 2-1 lead into the halftime break. Yavapai scored two more goals in the second half.

Southern Nevada will host Eastern Florida State in a non-conference match on Friday at the Cheyenne Sports Complex. CSN will play a pair of road matches next weekend, facing off against Arizona Western and Phoenix College.
