HENDERSON, Nev. (September 17, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Volleyball team fell in a pair of preseason tournament matches Saturday.
 
Hosting the 'Desert Classic', Southern Nevada dropped matches against Yavapai College, 3-0, and Eastern Arizona, 3-1. The Lady Coyotes are now 4-9 overall.
 
Southern Nevada will now look ahead to open Scenic West Athletic Conference play next weekend, facing off against Salt Lake Community College on Thursday.
 
Yavapai 3, Southern Nevada 0: The Lady Coyotes fell in a 23-25, 16-25, 17-25 decision.
 
CSN finished with a hitting percentage of .052. Natasha Obradovic led Southern Nevada with 14 kills. 
 
Eastern Arizona 3, Southern Nevada 1: CSN lost in the second match of the day, losing 16-25, 22-25, 25-15, 19-25.
 
Obradovic posted 13 kills in the loss. The Coyotes had 13 team blocks in the loss.
