HENDERSON, Nev. (September 8, 2022) – The College of Southern Nevada Volleyball team had a tough Thursday after facing off against some of the NJCAA's top programs.
CSN, hosting opening day action in the 'Coyote Classic', finished with a mark of 0-2 after dropping matches to No. 1 Florida Southwestern (0-3), and Parkland College 0-3. The Lady Coyotes are now 2-6 overall.
Southern Nevada will host matches against Pima Community College and Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Friday. All matches are being played at the Vegas Aces Volleyball Club facility.
Florida Southwestern 3, Southern Nevada 0: The Lady Coyotes fell by set scores of 12-25, 11-25, 16-25.
Florida Southwestern had a hitting percentage of .329 in the win, forcing 26 CSN errors.
Jaquelyn Robinson led Southern Nevada with five kills.
Parkland 3, Southern Nevada 0: CSN dropped its second match of the day Thursday, falling in straight sets to Parkland.
