North Las Vegas, NV - In a thrilling soccer match held on October 14, 2023, the College of Southern Nevada emerged victorious with a convincing 5-1 win over Colorado Northwestern Community College. 

The College of Southern Nevada wasted no time in setting the tone for the match. Just five minutes into the game, Enrique Reyes-Avila found the back of the net to give his team an early lead. The momentum continued for the home team when Frank De Leon Niz scored in the 36th minute, doubling their advantage.

Colorado Northwestern Community College, however, was determined not to go down without a fight. In the 42nd minute, Adrian Rios pulled one back for the visiting team with an assist from Dillon Hoskins, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

The second half saw an even more dominant performance from the College of Southern Nevada. Enrique Reyes-Avila continued to make his mark, scoring his second goal of the match in the 54th minute with an assist from Joshua Barahona. Just two minutes later, Miguel Higareda got on the scoresheet, extending the lead to 4-1.

The College of Southern Nevada wasn't done yet. In the 67th minute, Miguel Higareda netted his second goal of the match with an assist from Anthony Carrasco, sealing the victory at 5-1.

Despite their best efforts, Colorado Northwestern Community College couldn't stage a comeback, and the match ended with a convincing win for the home team.
