LAS VEGAS, NV - In a thrilling basketball showdown, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Coyotes faced off against the Yavapai College Roughriders, but despite putting up a strong fight, CSN ultimately fell to Yavapai College by a final score of 94-83. The game took place on November 17, 2023, at the Doolittle Community Center in front of an attendance of 287 enthusiastic fans.
The game started with Yavapai College taking an early lead in the first half, outscoring CSN 43-27. Yavapai's Ray Glasgow led the way with an impressive performance, scoring 26 points while grabbing 9 rebounds. Kieran Carr added 15 points, and Isaac Gonzalez contributed 12 points for the Roughriders.
CSN tried to mount a comeback in the second half, outscoring Yavapai 56-51, but it wasn't enough to secure the win. Samuel Steele-Williams was the standout player for the Coyotes, leading the team with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Jaylen Pollard added 16 points, and Lorenzo Abellar scored 8 points for CSN.
