In a high-octane showdown at the Doolittle Recreation Center, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) continued their perfect season by securing a commanding 100-75 victory over Central Arizona College. This triumph came as part of the 2023 CSN Holiday Basketball Classic Presented by Cannery Hotel and Casino.

The College of Southern Nevada, boasting an impressive 13-0 record going into the match, was eager to maintain their unbeaten streak. On the other hand, Central Arizona College, with a 3-6 record, faced a daunting challenge against the formidable CSN squad.

The game began with a fast-paced first quarter, with CSN taking a 26-17 lead. The momentum continued to favor the home team, as they maintained control throughout the contest.

Aaliyah Ibarra was the standout player for CSN, pouring in 22 points and contributing significantly to her team's success. Layla Faught provided essential support with 17 points, while Jordyn Stroud made her presence felt with 14 points and an impressive 12 rebounds, earning herself a double-double.

Central Arizona College, despite facing a formidable opponent, displayed determination and resilience. Anna Costa Riera led her team's scoring efforts with 21 points and eight assists. Mileina Sablinskaite and Kirstine Munk also made significant contributions, scoring 18 and 15 points, respectively.

CSN's dominance was evident in several key statistical categories. They outscored Central Arizona College in points in the paint (56 to 26) and fast-break points (10 to 0), highlighting their versatility on both ends of the court. CSN's bench also played a crucial role, contributing 30 points compared to Central Arizona College's 11 from their bench players.

CSN's defense proved formidable, accumulating 10 steals and effectively disrupting Central Arizona College's offensive plays. They capitalized on turnovers, converting them into 19 points.

The largest lead of the game was 34 points, in favor of CSN during the fourth quarter, demonstrating their dominance throughout the matchup.
