HENDERSON, Nev. (February 18, 2023) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team dropped its final road game of the season Saturday.
In a road game with No. 4 Southern Idaho, the Lady Coyotes fell in a 90-65 decision. Southern Nevada is now 11-15 overall and 5-11 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play with the loss.
Southern Idaho took control early and never looked back, leading 26-17 after the first quarter and 51-30 at halftime. In contrast, the Lady Coyotes shot just 34.6 percent from the field, going only 4-of-16 from the three-point line and committing 26 turnovers.
Aaliyah Ibarra posted 19 points to lead the Lady Coyotes, while
Paige Grant posted 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Emily Backus finished with 15 points.
Southern Nevada will host USU Eastern in a home game next Saturday to close the season.
