HENDERSON, Nev. (February 19, 2023) – The College of Southern Nevada Baseball team earned another dominant win Sunday.
Continuing its weekend series with Prairie Baseball Academy, the Coyotes moved to 3-0 on the series with an 11-1 win at Morse Stadium. The victory lifts CSN to 11-4.
Jackson Castillo continued his strong performances at the plate, going 3-of-3 with a trio of RBI's. Castillo hit a solo home run in the third, then added an RBI triple in the sixth inning. CSN had 16 hits in the win.
Gavin Amelburu, Marcus Carrasco, and
Jack Hale all went 2-of-3 in the game.
Lucas Boesen earned the pitching victory, throwing a pair of shutout innings.
Southern Nevada will conclude the series on Sunday.
