HENDERSON, Nev. (February 21, 2023) - In what is becoming almost a weekly habit, the College of Southern Nevada Baseball team has earned individual honors from the Scenic West Athletic Conference.

Jackson Castillo was honored with the Scenic West's 'Player-of-the-Week' award, thanks to his efforts in leading the Coyotes to a sweep over Prairie Baseball Academy. Castillo went 7-of-8 at the plate in the series, scoring six runs.
A native of Southern California, Castillo hit two home runs, a triple and a double in the wins, finishing with seven RBI's. He had an on-base percentage of .916, posting a slugging percentage of 1.857.
Southern Nevada will resume play on March 3, facing off against Salt Lake Community College in the Scenic West Athletic Conference opener.
