HENDERSON, Nev. (February 23, 2023) – A long regular season is over for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team.
The Coyotes lost to rival USU Eastern, 67-66, falling on a last-second shot by USU's Kevin Bethel. CSN is now 14-16 overall and 8-10 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
In a back-and-forth game,
Darren Jones led the Coyotes to within seconds of a victory, posting 25 points and 20 rebounds.
Ray Daniels also scored 20 points.
Southern Nevada is tied with USU Eastern in the league standings, with USU Eastern having two remaining games with Community Christian. If the Eagles sweep the doubleheader, they will earn the final spot in next week's Region 18 tournament at Southern Idaho.
