Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HENDERSON, Nev. (March 17, 2023) – A Scenic West Athletic Conference road series ended in a split for the Southern Nevada Softball team.
 
Playing at Snow College, the Lady Coyotes split with the Lady Badgers, earning a 4-1 win before falling, 5-4. The losses drop Southern Nevada to 14-10 overall and 6-4 in Scenic West play.
 
CSN will continue the series with Snow on Saturday.
 
Southern Nevada 4, Snow 1: The Lady Coyotes scored early and took a lead they never surrendered.
 
CSN posted runs in both the first and third innings, building a 4-0 lead. Laynee Anzalone's pitching sustained the Lady Coyotes throughout the game, with her striking out 12 Snow batters.
 
Mia Elicero was 2-of-3 in the win.
 
Snow 5, Southern Nevada 4: A strong start couldn't hold up in the nightcap for Southern Nevada.
 
CSN took a 4-0 lead after the first inning, then saw Snow chip away at the lead. The Lady Coyotes were undone by three errors in the game.
 
Caitlin Covington went 3-of-4 at the plate to lead Southern Nevada.
