HENDERSON, Nev. (March 24, 2023) – The only thing prettier than the Southern Nevada sunshine Friday was the play of the No. 16 Southern Nevada Baseball team.
CSN opened a series with Colorado Northwestern in grand fashion, sweeping a doubleheader at Morse Stadium by scores of 8-7 and 13-5. Southern Nevada is now on an 11-game winning streak, lifting the program's record to 24-6 overall and 12-2 in Scenic West play.
Southern Nevada and Colorado Northwestern will play another doubleheader Saturday, with the first pitch of the opening game scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Gavin Amelburu hit an RBI single in the sixth inning to break a 7-7 tie in the sixth inning, lifting the Coyotes to a win.

Bradley Stone and Mikey Cruz,. Jr., all hit RBI singles in the second inning to boost Southern Nevada to an early 5-0 lead.
Cruz and Amelburu both went 2-of-3 in the game.
Ethan O'Neal earned the pitching win, throwing two runs in relief.
Southern Nevada 13, Colorado Northwestern 5: Big innings lifted the Coyotes to an impressive win.
CSN scored five runs in both the third and fifth innings, with Southern Nevada posting 12 hits in the win.
