North Las Vegas, NV - September 9, 2023 - In a thrilling soccer match at the Cheyenne Sports Complex, Snow College faced a tough defeat against College of Southern Nevada with a final score of 1-3.
The match began with high spirits from both sides as they aimed to secure a vital win. Marco Lizarraga guarded the goal for College of Southern Nevada, while Sam Harley was between the posts for Snow College. From the initial minutes, it was evident that this match would be closely contested.
The first significant moment of the game occurred at the 7th-minute mark when Snow College was awarded a penalty kick. However, their attempt to take the lead was thwarted as Jack Cook's shot was saved brilliantly by Marco Lizarraga, much to the disappointment of the Snow College fans.

In quick succession, College of Southern Nevada struck twice more. In the 59th minute, Enrique Reyes-Avila scored his second goal of the match, putting College of Southern Nevada ahead with an assist from Anthony Carrasco. Just two minutes later, Wolfgang Alvarado added another goal to the tally, extending their lead to 3-1 with an assist from Orlando Villegas Jr.
Snow College attempted to make a comeback and came close on several occasions, but the defensive efforts of College of Southern Nevada, led by Marco Lizarraga, remained steadfast. Despite their best efforts, Snow College couldn't bridge the gap.
As the final whistle blew, College of Southern Nevada emerged victorious with a 3-1 scoreline. Their fans celebrated while Snow College looked back on missed opportunities that could have changed the course of the game.
