North Las Vegas, NV, September 9, 2023 - In a thrilling matchup at the Cheyenne Sports Complex in North Las Vegas, soccer fans were treated to an exhilarating encounter as Snow College Badgers faced off against College of Southern Nevada Lady Coyotes. The match ended with a scoreline that hardly reflected the intensity of the contest - a 3-2 victory for College of Southern Nevada.

The game got off to an electrifying start as the Badgers came out all guns blazing. Their relentless pressure onthe Lady Coyote's defense created a flurry of scoring opportunities. Olivia Kaneen, Badgers star forward, opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a stunning strike. The goal sent waves of excitement through the Badgers squad and their enthusiastic fans in the stands.

Not long after, Emily Morrill doubled the Badger's lead with another well-taken goal. As the teams headed into halftime, Snow College looked to be in control, leading 2-0. However, soccer has a way of throwing surprises.

In the second half, the Lady Coyotes mounted a remarkable comeback. Riley Cardenas ignited the resurgence with a powerful goal in the 46th minute, narrowing the deficit. The tenacity of Lady Coyotes paid off when Layla Faught leveled the score at 2-2, sending their fans into raptures.

The game's defining moment arrived in the 81st minute when Jenna Garcia found the back of the net, securing the victory for the College of Southern Nevada. Melinda Bravo-Avenda provided the crucial assist that set up the decisive goal.
