CSN Coyotes Men's Basketball Team Clinches a Convincing Win Against Community Christian College

Redlands CA, December 4, 2024 — The College of Southern Nevada's men's basketball team displayed a powerhouse performance, overwhelming Community Christian College with a resounding 132-64 victory. The game, played at the Norton Arena on a chilly December evening, showcased the Coyotes' dominance from start to finish.

The Coyotes set an aggressive tone early, outscoring their opponents 62-32 in the first half. Their momentum only surged in the second half, where they tallied an impressive 70 points, mirroring their first-half intensity.

LeRone Wright was the standout performer for CSN, racking up 26 points, which included sinking three out of seven attempts from beyond the arc. His prowess on the court was complemented by Cyril Franklin Jr., who not only scored 23 points but also facilitated the team's offense with eight assists.

Chase Jackson and David Estes made significant contributions as well. Jackson, with a strong presence under the basket, grabbed 11 rebounds and scored 14 points. Estes came off the bench to deliver a crucial 20 points, proving instrumental in extending the lead through the second half.

Maximus Romero added an energetic spark with 18 points, including key defensive plays that resulted in two steals. His performance highlighted the depth of talent within the CSN squad, emphasizing their ability to maintain intensity throughout the game.

CSN's gameplay was characterized by impressive shooting accuracy, finishing the game shooting 61.1% from the field and 36.4% from three-point territory. Their defensive game was equally strong, evidenced by accumulating eight blocks and 57 rebounds, showcasing their physical dominance throughout the matchup.

Community Christian College, despite the tough game, had notable performances from Moshin Tirmazi and Jayden Doss. Tirmazi led his team with 17 points, while Doss contributed 16 points. Their efforts, however, were overshadowed by CSN's overwhelming offensive and defensive tactics.

As the CSN Coyotes continue their season, this game will stand as a testament to their potential and the high standards they've set. With ambitions of reaching further into the postseason, the Coyotes look more formidable than ever.
