In a thrilling matchup at Lady Coyote Field, the College of Southern Nevada secured a hard-fought 10-7 victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College. The game was filled with intense action, showcasing both teams' offensive firepower and competitive spirit.
The Lady Coyotes wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, scoring two runs in the opening inning to take an early lead. They added two more runs in the second inning, extending their advantage and putting pressure on the opposing defense.
Colorado Northwestern responded with a run in the first inning and another in the third, keeping the game within reach. However, the Lady Coyotes' offense continued to produce, scoring two runs in the fourth inning, one in the fifth, and three more in the sixth to solidify their lead.
Center fielder Camryn Hunkins led the offensive charge for the College of Southern Nevada, going 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and three runs scored. Hunkins' speed and ability to get on base consistently were key factors in the Lady Coyotes' offensive success.
