Bullhead City, AZ — September 30, 2025- The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team showed resilience in ACCAC play on Tuesday afternoon but came up short in a 4-2 road loss to Mohave Community College.
The Big Horns struck early and often in the opening half, taking a 3-0 advantage into the break. Mohave's Paola Cruz opened the scoring in the 9th minute, followed by goals from Alexia DeSantiago in the 28th minute and Kellsie Littlewood in the 37th minute.
CSN pushed back in the second half with improved offensive pressure. Mohave added to its lead in the 74th minute when Magaly Guzman-Lopez made it 4-0. The Lady Coyotes, however, refused to back down. Sophomore forward
Nathaly Perez-Rodriguez put CSN on the board in the 82nd minute with a well-placed shot, and defender
Monica Lopez-Torres followed with a goal in the 88th minute assisted by
Iliana Arias to cut the deficit in half.
The Coyotes outshot Mohave 9-11 in the second half and finished the match with 15 total shots, including nine on goal. Goalkeeper
Madison English anchored the CSN defense, tallying eight saves across 90 minutes of play.
With the result, CSN moves to 2-5-1 overall and 1-4-1 in ACCAC play.
The Lady Coyotes return home for their next match on Tuesday, October 7, at 4:30 p.m. when they host the Yavapai College Roughriders at the Cheyenne Sports Complex.
