Phoenix, AZ — November 15, 2025- The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team completed its Arizona road swing in dominant fashion on Saturday afternoon, powering past South Mountain Community College 84–55 behind a season-best performance from sophomore guard
Saroiya Ajomale. The victory moves the Lady Coyotes to 5–2 on the season.
CSN controlled the game from the opening tip and never trailed, using efficient scoring, stifling defense, and overwhelming rebounding to build a lead that ballooned to 39 points in the fourth quarter.
Saroiya Ajomale delivered her strongest outing of the year, erupting for 30 points on 14-of-21 shooting, while adding four rebounds and three steals. Ajomale consistently beat defenders off the dribble and finished in transition, scoring 8 points in the fourth alone as CSN closed the game with authority.
CSN's depth was on full display with eight players scoring six or more points.
- Trista Mabry posted another all-around outing with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals, proving once again why she anchors both ends of the floor.
- Satsuki Bradley added 11 points, including a timely second-quarter three that sparked a 10–0 run.
- Alanna Jackson continued her strong interior play with 8 points and 9 rebounds, helping CSN dominate the boards.
- Alana Conner and Bianca Vazquez each chipped in 8 and 7 points, respectively, off the bench.
In total, the Lady Coyotes outrebounded SMCC 50–43, forced 21 turnovers, and racked up 26 points off turnovers.
CSN set the tone with a 17–9 first quarter, holding South Mountain to just 4-of-19 shooting. The Lady Coyotes then exploded for 23 points in the second and 21 more in the third, extending the lead to 61–35 entering the final frame.
The defensive effort was equally impressive, as CSN limited the Cougars to under 30% shooting through three quarters and allowed just 10 points in the paint all game.
With the game well in hand, CSN kept its foot on the gas, outscoring SMCC 23–20 in the fourth. Ajomale, Mitchell, Jackson, and Conner all added baskets as the Coyotes pushed the margin to the game's largest lead — 39 points — with 3:33 remaining.
South Mountain was led by Sadie Gardner, who scored 17 points, including five three-pointers.
The Lady Coyotes return to action on Tuesday at 5:00 PM, traveling to face Barstow Community College in Barstow, California.
