The game, marked by intense swings in momentum, saw the Coyotes improve their season record to an impressive 12-3. Despite trailing early, the home team's resilience and strategic hits in the latter innings clinched their win.
Early innings hinted at a tight match-up, with both teams trading runs. The Dawgs took a slight lead in the fifth, capitalizing on a triple by Morgan Halliday, driving in three runs to push the score to 7-6. However, the Coyotes' bats were just warming up.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, under mounting pressure, the Coyotes' lineup sparked a remarkable rally. Joey. Randazzo led off with a home run, leveling the score at 7-7.
