CSN Men's Basketball Rallies to Clinch a 90-81 Victory Over Cochise in a Thrilling ACCAC Matchup

North Las Vegas, NV - In a high-energy ACCAC matchup at the Coyote Event Center, the College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team notched an impressive 90-81 victory over Cochise College. This win improves the Coyotes' season record to 12-7 overall and 7-5 in conference play, showcasing their resilience and capability to rally when it matters most.

The game began with Cochise College taking an early lead, ending the first half with a solid 41-30 advantage. However, the tables turned dramatically in the second half as CSN found their rhythm, outscoring Cochise 60-40. This stunning reversal was highlighted by an explosive offensive performance and tight defense that stymied Cochise's earlier momentum.

LeRone Wright led the scoring for CSN with a spectacular 25 points, including crucial three-pointers that helped seal the team's comeback. Cyril Franklin Jr. also made significant contributions with 21 points, while David Estes added 19, rounding out a trio of players who scored in double digits and were instrumental in the team's second-half surge.

The Coyotes showed exceptional teamwork and strategic execution, particularly in the second half. The team's ability to convert on fast breaks and capitalize on turnovers played a pivotal role in their comeback. CSN's defense tightened up considerably in the latter stages of the game, which was critical in limiting Cochise College's scoring opportunities and securing the lead.

This victory was a testament to the Coyotes' determination and ability to perform under pressure, qualities that will be essential as they continue to contend for a top spot in the ACCAC standings. The team looks forward to carrying this momentum forward as they aim for continued success in the competitive conference landscape.
