M. George relieved G. Castillo after just one-third of an inning but couldn't stem the tide as CSN kept the pressure on throughout the contest.
After a sacrifice fly from Swanson in the second extended the lead to 8-0, the Coyotes tacked on a ninth run in the third when Wheatley reached on an error and later scored on Rhynes' second sacrifice fly of the day.
The biggest inning came in the fourth, when CSN posted seven more runs. Anthony Marnell IV led off with a double and scored on Jaxson Reiser's single. Rhynes later added a two-RBI double down the left field line, and Harvey Smerdon and Kaiden Bialas each drove in runs. Fifteen different Coyotes contributed in the win, with 11 hits spread across the lineup. Marnell IV was a standout, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs, two doubles, and a walk. Swanson and Rhynes each drove in four combined runs, while Garritano, Zacher, Wheatley, and Reiser also had key offensive contributions.
Chase Frey improved to 8-1 on the season with four dominant innings, allowing just one hit while striking out five. Boston Jensen pitched a scoreless fifth to close out the mercy-rule win.
