September 27, 2025 | Douglas, AZ – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team hit the road Saturday for an ACCAC clash with the Cochise College Apache's. The Coyotes came out firing, scoring three goals in the opening 30 minutes, before Cochise rallied to claim an 8–3 result.
The Coyotes wasted little time making their mark on the match. In the 4th minute,
Nathaly Perez-Rodriguez put CSN on the board with a composed finish off a setup from
Savannah Foschetti. Just minutes later,
Kate Oliva doubled the advantage with a strike of her own, giving CSN a quick 2–0 lead.
After Cochise answered back with three goals in rapid succession, the Coyotes fought right back. In the 30th minute, Foschetti added a goal to her earlier assist, pulling CSN within one and making it 4–3 at halftime.
Key Performers
The Coyotes continued to battle in the second half, generating 10 total shots and forcing six corner kicks over the course of the match. Defensively,
Rayen Garrett,
Iliana Arias, and
Monica Lopez-Torres logged major minutes on the back line, working to slow the Apaches' attack.
With the result, CSN moves to 2–4–1 overall, 1–3–1 ACCAC on the season. The Coyotes will now turn their focus to another conference road test, traveling to Bullhead City, Arizona, to take on the Mohave College Bighorns on Tuesday, September 30.
