Randazzo Drives in Five as Coyotes Run-Rule South Mountain, 10–0

HENDERSON, Nev. — Feb. 13, 2026 — The College of Southern Nevada Coyotes erupted for seven runs in the second inning and cruised to a 10–0, five-inning victory over South Mountain Community College in Game Two of Friday's doubleheader at Lied Field | Morse Stadium.

CSN struck first in the bottom of the first. Alex Rhynes was hit by a pitch, advanced to second on a wild pitch and moved to third on a groundout before Brandon Swanson delivered an RBI single up the middle to make it 1–0.

The Coyotes broke the game open in the second inning. Grant Smith singled, Jacob Nelson followed with a single, and Harvey Smerdon reached on a fielder's choice to load the bases. Joey Randazzo then ripped a three-run double to right-center field to extend the lead to 4–0. Swanson singled again, and with the bases loaded, Caden Kirby drew a walk to force in a run. Carson Anderson capped the inning with a three-run double down the right-field line as CSN surged ahead 8–0.

Randazzo added the final blow in the fourth, drilling a two-run double to right-center to push the lead to 10–0.

Randazzo finished 2-for-4 with five RBIs and two doubles, while Swanson went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Anderson drove in three runs, Smith and Nelson each scored twice, and Kirby added an RBI.

On the mound, James Bradford earned the win, allowing two hits over 3.1 scoreless innings. Benjamin Schroeder and Boston Jensen combined to finish the shutout effort as CSN limited South Mountain to two hits.
