HENDERSON, Nev. — Feb. 20, 2026 — The College of Southern Nevada dropped game two of Friday's doubleheader to the College of Southern Idaho, 7–1, at Lady Coyote Field.
Southern Idaho scored two runs in the top of the first inning on an RBI single and a run-scoring groundout to take an early lead. The Golden Eagles added single runs in the third and fourth innings, then pushed across two more in the fifth to extend the advantage to 6–0.
The Lady Coyotes threatened in the fourth when Chloe Tepraseuth doubled to right field, but CSN was unable to bring the tying run to the plate.
CSN broke through in the sixth inning. Breya Hee singled to left field, and Jaydah Chun followed with a single to right to put two runners aboard. With two outs, Haley Horst singled to center field to drive in Hee and cut the deficit to 6–1.
Southern Idaho added an unearned run in the seventh inning to complete the scoring.
In the circle, Nicole Carrasco started for CSN and worked three innings before Haley Horst moved into the circle in relief. Southern Idaho finished with 13 hits in the contest.
Offensively, CSN recorded six hits, including singles from Hee, Chun, Justice Lavin, and Sierra Dennison, while Tepraseuth accounted for the Lady Coyotes' lone extra-base hit with her fourth-inning double.
The Lady Coyotes and Southern Idaho will conclude the three-game series on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Lady Coyote Field.
