NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Feb. 4, 2026) — The College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team fell 93–73 to Arizona Western College Matadors on Tuesday night in ACCAC action at the Coyote Event Center.
Arizona Western jumped out to an early advantage and carried a 46–36 lead into halftime before outscoring CSN 47–37 in the second half to secure the road victory. The Matadors finished the night shooting 52.5 percent from the field and went 23-of-30 at the free-throw line, maintaining separation throughout the final 20 minutes.
CSN was led by Gerald Patterson, who scored a game-high 24 points on 10-of-18 shooting while adding eight rebounds. Maximus Romero followed with 14 points, connecting on four three-pointers, and Demarion Yap added 10 points and six rebounds. Qualib Ghallab chipped in eight points, while Myron Hubbard contributed five points, seven rebounds, and five steals off the bench.
The Coyotes shot 39.5 percent from the field and finished 9-of-31 from beyond the arc. CSN recorded 15 assists and forced 13 turnovers but was unable to overcome Arizona Western's advantage on the glass, as the Matadors held a 44–37 rebounding edge and scored 40 points in the paint.
CSN will remain home and return to ACCAC play on Saturday, Feb. 7, hosting Eastern Arizona College at 4:00 p.m. inside the Coyote Event Center in North Las Vegas.
